Job Description          

This position is responsible for planning, dispatching and administration of Household Goods long-haul interstate shipments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Plan national account and military household goods tonnage originating from one of four regional zones.
• Monitor and coordinate owner-operator positioning.
• Dispatch planned loads to owner-operators.
• Work with other planners/dispatchers to optimize driver loads and routing.
• Coordinate origin agent packing and pick-up services.
• Conduct driver check calls.
• Manifest driver assignments, pick-up, delivery and ETA’s
• Track loaded shipments and provide updates to Customer Service Representatives.
• Closely manage military paperwork and record keeping.
  

  Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. 

Position Qualifications
We are looking for an individual who is self motivating, detail oriented and is able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.  The ideal candidate will have a high school or above diploma, with previous experience in the Household Goods moving industry preferred.  Intermediate computer knowledge is required.  Flexible/extended hours will be required during the busy summer months.
